StreetCrowd is responsible for balancing the car-sharing fleet in designated areas of the city, known as hot zones.
If a car disappears from the map after you arrive at its location, it usually means that there are no longer too many cars in that area. In other words, the zone no longer needs vehicle relocation.
This can happen when:
-
The area is experiencing high activity 🔄
-
Other vehicles were recently rented by car-sharing customers or relocated by other StreetCrowd members🧍♂️🧍♀️
As a result, the system no longer requires relocation from that zone, and the vehicle is removed from the map. 🗺️
In high-traffic zones, the balance of the fleet can change dynamically. It’s very likely that new vehicles will soon be left in the area by other customers, and 🚗 new tasks will become available shortly.
